Since its founding as a private institution in 1964, the university of Belgrano has grown to become one of Argentina's leaders in higher education. The university offers a complete range of courses to a culturally diverse population of more than 14,500 students.More than 900 international students participate in exchange programs through the University of Belgrano annually.
The campus, located in one of the most relaxing and distinguished residential areas of metropolitan Buneos Aires, is just a few minutes from downtown.For better education modern facilities are equipped with computer labs and well-maintained libraries. As a part of education the school also offers a variety of cultural, artistic and athletic activities to complete the academic program.
For giving best education courses are instructed by university faculty through the Programa de Estudios Argentinosy Latinoamericans, as well as different departments of the University of Belgrano. In case of education CEA students will have access to the same university facilities as Argentine students, including a university ID,computer labs, library, and campus bookstore. This special feature allows CEA students to fully appreciate daily life and more informative education in Argentina. In addition, by sharing the university campus with Argentines, CEA students have ample opportunity to meet interact and get more educational information with their Argentine peers.
CLASSROOM INFORMATION
- Faculty from University of Belgrano will teach your language courses and electives to have comfortable education.
- Periodic exams, homework assignments and final exams will be administered for best results in education.
- Attendance in all classes is mandatory and monitered by each professor as a part of giving students good education.
- In case of education teaching styles in Argentina can be very different from those found in the US or Canada.Be prepared to adapt the different classroom structures and coursework and also a different type of education exceptions for your school.
- For an education in a class, class size ranges between 10 and 15 students for language courses and between 10 and 40 students for your electives.
- You will be class with international students from the US, Europe, Canada and other parts of the world.In case of education due to the superior mastery of the language required, you will not be in classes with host national students unless you test at the high intermediate language level to raise the range of students education level.
GRADING
In case of education the professors in Argentina will carefully evaluate students' work and progress.Reading, written and oral exercises, homework assignments, attendance, classroom participation and performance on exams will be taken into account when calculating the final grade to give them better education.Students who do not maintain a minimum level of 80% attendance will not be permitted to take the final exam as a part of their strict and good education.There are no exceptions to this rule for the students who are getting education in the university.Although educational grades at the University of Belgrano are based on a 10-point scale, the verbal grades explained below are used by all Argentine universities and are the grades that students will see on their transcripts.
